Richfield Industries is pleased to have you "on-line", and it's our pleasure to share with you some of the reasons we have grown into the nation's largest manufacturer of returnable shipping and storage containers.

Richfield has been developing material handling solutions for over sixty-five years, and it is our proven ability and experience that continues to lead our company in the 21st century. Our family-owned business continues to stand on its strongly-held standards of quality and workmanship. We feel that it is these traits that have been the foundation that we expect, and that our customers demand. In an era in which quality has finally come to the forefront, we continue to live by our company motto:

Richfield Industries began in 1939 when Howard Campbell, Sr. founded Richfield Iron Works in Flint, Michigan. Behind the white house where the family lived, grew a modest custom metal fabrication shop with the goal of providing quality work at fair prices. Those goals remain true today.

Richfield's growth over the years has been tied to its commitment to quality production. Many of the customers Richfield made its first racks for back in the 1950s are still our customers today - a direct result of our dedication to doing the job right. Customers have found our reusable containers to be cost effective, part friendly and environmentally safe. It is no wonder that our company has seen substantial growth with the induction of ISO-9001:2000, ISO-14001, and QOS quality standards.

Of course, quality isn't our only priority. When you deal in material handling equipment, it all comes down to delivering the product on time. Richfield Industries is proud to say that our on-time delivery is the best in the industry. Meeting our commitments is a job we take seriously. We know that it is important to our customers, and it is equally important to us.

As the world continues to develop into a service-based economy, Richfield has continued to increase its range of capabilities and services. Too often in the past, time and money have been wasted when the designer of a rack had little knowledge of the production process. At Richfield's design and development center, our designers and production staff work together to offer full turn-key solutions to meet our customers needs. This is just one of the many benefits that come from over 65 years of experience providing the best solutions with the best people.

The dedication of our people has been the key to our continued success and longevity. By providing a quality workplace and challenging jobs, we have been able to maintain key employees. Many of our people have been with us for over 15 years and our engineers and management staff have an average of over 30 years experience. With this combination of experienced workers and fresh talent from area colleges and universities, we feel very confident about our personnel as we've entered the 21st Century.

Richfield Industries is very proud of our relationship with the automotive and non-automotive industries. We are committed to supplying only the finest quality custom steel racks made to the OEMs' specifications. We are also a member of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG).
